Building a Credible Digital Presence for a Digital Forensics Firm

TraceX, a Canadian digital forensics and litigation support firm, needed a website that conveyed trust and professionalism to legal audiences. We rebuilt the site on WordPress, keeping the existing sitemap while overhauling structure, messaging, and layouts to clarify services and add credibility. The result is a clean, professional site that clearly communicates capabilities, builds authority, and makes it easy for prospects to reach out.
Challenge
TraceX is a digital forensics and litigation support firm based in Canada. The company already had an online presence, but the existing website was built on a basic template platform and didn't reflect the credibility required in their industry.
For firms working in digital investigations and legal support, trust and professionalism are critical. The previous website didn't clearly explain the services, didn't establish authority with legal audiences, and overall felt too lightweight for the type of work the company performs.
The client had already worked with our team on another business website and came back to us to rebuild TraceX properly, with a structure and presentation that would support the company's reputation and future growth.
Solution
We rebuilt the site from the ground up on WordPress keeping the existing sitemap but completely reworking how the services were presented.
- The biggest priority was clarity. Digital forensics is a specialized field, and the previous site didn't clearly explain what TraceX actually does or who their services are for. We simplified the structure and rewrote the page layouts so visitors can quickly understand the firm's capabilities in digital forensics, investigations, and litigation support.
- We also focused heavily on credibility. For a company operating in the legal and investigative space, the website needs to immediately signal professionalism and trust. We redesigned the homepage and service pages to clearly present the firm's expertise, added credibility elements, and created a clean, structured layout that feels appropriate for legal audiences.
- The result is a straightforward, professional website that communicates the company's services clearly and positions TraceX as a serious provider in the digital forensics and litigation support space.
Results
The new TraceX website replaced a basic template site with something that actually reflects the level of work the company does. It clearly explains their services, builds credibility with legal and investigative audiences, and makes it easy for potential clients to understand what TraceX does and reach out for a consultation.
