Hall Electrical Services Website Redesign and Modernization

Hall Electrical Services’ outdated and unstable WordPress site was beginning to undermine their credibility. The goal of this project was not aggressive marketing expansion, but to stabilize the existing site and then strategically rebuild it into a professional construction website design that reflects the company’s real-world reputation.
Challenge
Hall Electrical Services is a well-established electrical contractor serving commercial and residential clients throughout the DFW area. While the business itself was strong and relationship-driven, their website was outdated and no longer reflected the professionalism or credibility of the company.
The existing WordPress site was unstable and outdated: plugin conflicts, an old PHP version, broken navigation, and missing images were undermining performance. Just as importantly, the design didn't reflect the professionalism, reliability, and quality workmanship that define Hall Electrical Services in the real world. In line with thoughtful construction website design, the online experience needed to mirror that real-world reliability.
The main objective wasn't aggressive marketing growth; instead, it was legitimacy and gaining professional recognition.
General contractors, commercial clients, and residential customers needed to quickly confirm that Hall Electrical Services was organized, trustworthy, and capable, especially in a competitive local market.
The project needed a quick technical fix along with a strategic redevelopment to establish a modern, well-organized, and easily manageable online presence.
We approached the project in two phases: first to stabilize the existing site, then to rebuild it with a clearer, more structured design.
We began by restoring functionality: resolving errors, updating the PHP version, repairing broken plugins, fixing navigation, and recovering missing portfolio assets. Compliance and security updates were also implemented to bring the site up to current standards.
Once stable, we rebuilt the website on a clean WordPress installation with a streamlined six-page structure focused on clarity and ease of navigation. The new site includes a focused homepage, dedicated commercial and residential service pages, an organized project portfolio, About and Employment pages, and a clear contact pathway.
The design reflects the company’s professionalism: rich blues, patriotic accents, and a straightforward layout that mirrors their reputation in the field. Content was reorganized for clarity and usability, and foundational SEO and technical setup were implemented to support local DFW visibility, speed, and mobile performance.
The result is a modern WordPress website that works reliably, represents the business well, and can be updated internally without outside support.
