Honeybrains: Where Good Food Meets Good UX

Challenges
For a fast-casual restaurant brand like Honeybrains, the disconnect between its mission and its online presence was a serious issue. Although it is founded on neuroscience and nutrition to promote brain health, it had limited visibility and content control. The catering site hosted on BentoBox made it difficult to optimize content or improve SEO performance which prevented the brand from ranking well for key searches like “healthy restaurant NYC” or “brain-healthy food.” The goal was to rebuild the the site on a scalable CMS and launch a full SEO program to increase organic visibility and local reach across New York City.
Solutions
We rebuilt Honeybrains’ digital ecosystem around clarity and convenience. The new WordPress-powered site aligns with Honeybrains bold, modern aesthetic and brand voice.The new flow now guides visitors naturally through location pages, connecting directly to ToastTab for online orders and catering requests. We enhanced usability with an easy-to-use location search, a live social wall streaming posts from @honeybrainslife, and a bold, modern interface that mirrors Honeybrains’ in-store atmosphere of wellness and connection.
Results
Within months of SEO campaign launch in late 2023–early 2024, Honeybrains reached page-one rankings for pillar terms like “healthy restaurant NYC” and “brain bar NYC.” Average keyword positions rose from #35 to #12 with consistent map listings and visibility across all locations.
After the new site launch in October 2025, the site’s performance and flexibility improved dramatically earning a Grade A on GTmetrix for speed and optimization. The new site not only strengthened brand consistency but also simplified customer journeys and boosted engagement. Even after SEO paused, Honeybrains’ website continues to perform as a search-optimized, high-converting foundation for future growth.
